Australian governments are meant to represent the interests of Australians, not multinational gas corporations.

Australians are tired of rampant gas exports driving up their power bills.

✍️ Add your name to the call to fix Australia's gas export problem!

Yes, and ditch the polluting, extinction driving factory farmed salmon industry
WHY IS TASMANIA ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE PLACES TO LIVE IN AUSTRALIA?

Yes, enough of these Band-Aid solutions. Let’s address the causes of the growing climate crisis.
The cost of inaction on climate is devastating. 1 in 5 Australians are uninsured or underinsured as disasters worsen. We can’t insure our way out—we must act. My bill calls for legislated Climate Risk & Adaptation Plans to protect communities & lower costs.

Right now, animals are being forced onto the Jawan 🇵🇦—

🚢 7 levels of cramped pens— 4 open, fully exposed to the elements
💩 Already covered in their own faeces before even stepping onto the ship.
⚠️ Zero welfare protections at their destination.

The man is not fit to be leader of the opposition, much less the country.
I welcome the NACC’s findings - no corruption, no further action, as expected. This was a dirty Liberal Party tactic to try to stop me from winning in Goldstein. This is what Peter Dutton’s Liberal Party does. Race-to-the-bottom politics that is all about them, not you.

Great to volunteer for an organization that wants to end barbaric cruelty for agricultural animals.
We're on the lookout for volunteers to support our mission at Stop Live Exports.

Get involved and help us transition to a more humane and ethical alternative to live animal exports.

"After decades of allowing this suffering, Australia has finally legislated to phase out live sheep exports by sea by May 2028 — a move that seven in 10 Australians support.
This phase out is in limbo pending the outcome of the Federal election." thewest.com.au/opinion/cath...
Australia’s live sheep export trade is a sinking ship
The argument that we need live sheep exports to sustain economic growth and jobs is a fallacy.

This is an appallingly cruel industry

We might have just rung in a new year, but it feels like an epidemiological Groundhog Day.
Big Agriculture Is Leading Us Into the Bird Flu Abyss
The federal government’s deference to agriculture industry interests has put the US at risk of a public health crisis.

In my @projectsyndicate.bsky.social column, just released, I welcome the passage, in the House of Commons, of a private members bill that will allow terminally ill patients in England and Wales to receive, on request, a drug that will enable them to die peacefully at a time of their own choosing.
Choice in Dying Comes to the UK | by Peter Singer - Project Syndicate
Peter Singer welcomes the approval of a bill that promises to empower terminally ill patients in England and Wales.
