Good, competitive, defensive minded game in Peoria last night. Duke Deen had some key threes in the second half that spurred the Braves to the W.

First ever trip to Mackey Arena for me. Kinda surreal as an IU fan being there. Louder and more intimate than Assembly. But man those bleachers in the uppers are terrible. Packed in like sardines. The fake ‘32 championship banner was cute too. 😂

Enjoyed the Suki Waterhouse concert, other than the crazy weather after. Good stage show and she sounded great. Prep songs were all indie artists and opener was Bully, but most of the crowd I would guess were tik tokers. Will be interesting to see her future direction.

Loved visiting Athens, OH to see afternoon tilt between the bobcats and Robert Morris. Students on break so was not that lively, but beautiful campus. Band during the game was outstanding, providing all the support the team needed in a fairly comfortable result.

Entertaining game with Pitt edging OSU with a last second 3. Terrible foul call at end of regulation that should have been a travel on Pitt that would have likely clinched a W for OSU. As an IU fan I’m here for it though.

Had the experience of visiting the State Farm Center for the first time last night. Game sucked but very cool 60+ year old arena. Prices seemed a tad high on everything and half the arena was blocked for club members, but otherwise super cool place to watch some ball.

Still recovering from late night Morrissey show, but looks like another good slate of games today. I’ll be watching IU/Ohio St football at noon though.

Lackluster victory from the Hoosiers over UNCG. Got out to a hot start. Up 21-5 early, but momentum stymied by Coach Woodson’s substitution patterns as is often the case. Never really regained same energy. Rice and Tucker lone bright spots.

Watching the Ball State game at Worthen arena last night made me reminisce. 30 years ago I was at the same venue (2 years after it opened) to see NIN concert which I remember being an amazing show. This was the setlist.

Ball State gets upset by Mark Montgomery’s Detroit squad 70-59. Detroit much quicker and more energy most of the game. Trouble for Michael Lewis in year 3.

Cincinnati too much depth and just bigger, more athletic around the rim than Northern Kentucky. Looked pretty impressive tonight. Lukosius hot from outside.
