Agree. I will never understand the desperate wish of tech promoters and AI users to avoid doing the things that make us human. Writing is hard; that’s the point. Art is difficult to make & worth it. Reading can be a challenge; it’s how to learn. Why delegate these to soulless AI? To do what instead?

Yeah I usually hate the old “capitalists want to charge you to breathe the air” stuff but damn this really feels like they want to take books away and charge to have a computer read for us.
