Burn came from magic, I believe it was a red deck that just played actions to deal damage directly to the opponent, ignoring board control. My understanding is it was called burn because a lot of the actions were fire themed.

No idea what the three pillars of Lorcana are tho lol.

I've been playing a deck with some similarities to this... Maybe this is where I go this season and finally top 8 without having to sell my soul to something like Ruby Amethyst.

(2/2) (remember the Freakenomics chapter on sumo anyone?) but it will make it much harder to intentionally draw when there are 8 games between your second matchup where anything can happen. Obviously the logistics of reseating twice as much means this probably won't happen. But I would be intrigued.

(1/2) I wanna try something crazy where you play one game against 9 opponents then you play your second game against the same 9 opponents. Now obviously this will lead to some people who are safely in throwing their last few games to their opponents, especially if their opponents are close
