I think deathless might be coded as an hp debuff so your firespitter gets -0/3 from deathless (which would put it to 1hp) and the item then buffs it to 11/2

The way deathless interacts with path items is pretty weird. I gave lord mallet the poro item and it went to 0 hp right after reviving with deathless. Fizz with +3/3 item went to a 5/4 after being revived.
