Facebook and Google have collected more data over you (i.e., the ordinary American) than any other Chinese company. Also, Facebook and Google monetize your data by reselling it to data brokers, who resell it to China for far cheaper than it would cost them to collect it through TikTok.

That’s because Michelin is a French company and what do French men love so much they’d drive hours for?
Michelin in good conscience couldn’t do a guide about whorehouses (and there were thousands - all legal - all over France then), so they settled for the next best thing: restaurants.

Isn’t that cute. I don’t see any such posts about Meta (FB, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp collect way more personal data than TikTok) or Google or Twitter. Lack of coherence leads to lack of integrity, no integrity leads to hypocrisy, and we all know who the hypocrite in chief is.

“Stop hiding people,” and “release” takes a lot of balls (or confidence in the duplicity of the media) to say when they have been hiding 100+ people and not releasing them for well over a year now. Food for thought.
