As a noise artist in an impromptu cypher to get the party started I decided to shout these famous lyrics inspired by not being able to go bird watching with my dead Dad anymore as Rainy Miller DJed harsh noise.

That was insane. Rainy started a Boro noise cypher. Called on all MCs, singers, spoken word artists to grab the mic and spit something. Then it turned into a massive dance party.

Yeah do! You can’t really go wrong. There isn’t much like it. If you’re from further a field the weekends around the arts weeks with the bigger gigs get people from all over the place for the whole weekend. I’m sure Steve will be brewing stuff for those events again next year.

Playing this is a huge honour. Disgraceland is one of the best venues in the country. I’ve seen some incredible gigs there recently: Deterge, Russell Haswell, Fumu, Quiet Husband, Rainy Miller, Wes Baggely. Jane is the best host, the community is great and it just can’t go.

Filter Dread is always so good! I’ve followed them forever since Space Loops on No Corners. Got chatting and sending bits over one day then I did a double take when they used a track made of a sample of me sneezing in a kabab shop on the way to a gig.

Perfect opportunity to fashion a bindle. I think you could pull it off!

It’s incredible seeing photographers make better art out of me doing my art (noise).
