Sorry Orion, you are red seaweed. Brine-y with a questionable whiff of ocean smell, but bold and ever-present. Has the potential to shine if prepared properly, but falls totally flat when it's handled without a clear strategy.

The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

As a kid he went fishing with his dad, trying hard to catch something-- only to hook one and look it straight in the eye (singular) as it struggled with all its might to escape his little hands. His dad seemed happy, so he didn't want to show how much it shook him up.

Rest is an important part of the creative process. Full stop. There's a reason why people put, "just hang out" as one of the things to do at their art parties. Your presence is enough.
Go read Flo's whole thread, it's a good reminder of that. Your health comes first.

Ok I don't know whom of my AP oomfies need to hear this, but if you visit art parties frequently and expect yourself to create (often full or multiple) artworks EVERY time, you're eventually gonna get burnt out.
