A 1st Century AD, Roman Gold Bracelet, depicts a two-headed snake with glass eyes holding a medallion of the goddess Diana.
The bracelet gave its name to a famous house in Pompeii: "The House of the Gold Bracelet".

A perforated aurochs phalange is beautifully decorated with an aurochs in relief all around it. Carved in the Magdalenian period over 12,000 years ago, it comes from La Garma cave complex in Cantabria. Image source fundacionpalarq.com/en/la-garma/

The gold brooch is decorated with the figure of a naked warrior who wears a Celtic helmet, carries a sword and has a scabbard suspended from his waist; he is facing a hunting dog jumping up to him. The eyes of both figures were originally inlaid with glass 'enamel'.

The Venus of Laussel is a limestone bas-relief of a nude female figure, 46 cm high, painted with red ochre. It was carved into a large block of fallen limestone in a rock shelter (Abri de Laussel) in the commune of Marquay, in the Dordogne department of southwestern France.

Late Acheulean 'Giant' Handaxe from the Maritime Academy, Frindsbury, Kent. A very large flint handaxe was found in fluvial deposits thought to date from the MIS 9 interglacial (c.300,000 years ago). It is currently the 3rd largest known to be found in Britain.

Blue Glass Beads. Late Bronze Age (3300-1200 BC). Found in 1885 when a farmer ploughed up a cremation urn at Kongehøj in Denmark. Recent analysis shows they were made in Mesopotamia, 3100 years ago. Evidence of long-distance trade connections.
