Hi! A good rule of thumb is mixing 1 oz of vanilla pods (~10 pods) per 8 oz of alcohol! We slit them open & put them into a dark amber bottle containing the alcohol. Let it sit for at least 6 months before using (shake once a week). Happy extracting!
