I agree, the director directly addressing the audience provides a new level of immersion and I think it was a very nice touch towards engaging the audience as well

I felt the same way you did and I also relate to your observation of gentrification as an aspect of the movie. I grew up in Harlem and my part has been a breeding ground for gentrification and natives getting pushed out

I think this was a great ad to bring up. The repetition technique was definitely effective, for better or for worse, and having to hear it over and over again while your favorite sports team was getting slaughtered wasn't very fun to say the least. It's still really funny to think about though

I think this was a great commercial to bring up. I remember seeing this earlier in the year during NBA games, and I thought it was a beautiful celebration of the Jordan brand and the legacy it left. The rebelliousness is probably what made it stand out to the masses and become what it is today

I completely see where you're coming from, however I'd argue the current state of AI is much worse. It's utterly blasphemous - we're seeing lazy album covers and even tracks where artists' voices are being used without their consent! I wish we could go back to simpler times
