Check out the new improvements to Post Street Bridge in Spokane - there was a NASCAR race in the 80s that used Post Street when it was 4 lanes for its race route, and I've actually pointed out to others how the pedestrian-focused redesign of the bridge makes it impossible to host such a race haha

I don't think many US people actually like tipping, or at least it's seen as super obnoxious nowadays with how you're increasingly asked to tip for even fast food shit, which wasn't the case 10+ years ago.

I'm sorry that happened and I've had similar experiences, but unfortunately this shows why cops are unreliable (at best), and oftentimes the next course of action is to go to a lawyer, and failing that the media and the professional circles of the perpetrator.

This is why I ride with a camera in a conspicuous location where drivers can see it and know that if they break the law then it's on video for the cops, insurance companies, employers, or the public to see.
