Anyone else laying awake tonight thinking about how Destin d'Oraguille does not get enough slander in his life? He is a failure of a husband, father, and a spineless coward to his core. I will not elaborate since #FFXI has innocent newbies I shall not spoil for once in the game’s lifetime.

That TH ring is giving me flashbacks to dumb things my thf would get forced to do back in the day despite SE telling us how TH works in FFXI.
Eg Being forced to melee Turul even though I only have to get on the hate list for treasure hunter to work. Once you engage that you’re stunlocked.

Here from the Gusgen where the children yearn for the mines even in death, I'm making another thread of lockstyles you can wear in FFXI. I do have some theoretically higher resolution .dat mods, so consider yourself warned that I'm not 100% vanilla even if it's only a higher resolution. #FFXI

Hurricane knocked out power so no #ffxi gear showcase hurricane edition like I was planning. Nintendo Switch battery power is woefully insufficient for my needs compared to how long all of the previous consoles would last me during hurricane time.

#FFXI Lockstyles 3 am edition.

Dawntrail is its own brand of weird for Quetzalcoatl players from FFXI since we used to have a player running around named Sphene that died back in the day. I personally wasn’t close to her but given the themes present in the narrative those two events kind of resonate together.

I have exactly one and only one complaint with echoes of Vanadiel right now. SE didn’t bother to give an HD update to Alxaal’s gear. His Koenig gear textures stick out like a sore thumb compared to everything else.

I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t get the male version of dancer AF too, but I’ll live. It’s still a bit weird that so little of the gear they chose for these crossovers is something FFXI players can actually wear naturally.

Wizards is probably saving me a bunch of money by putting so little effort into the FFXI portion that I have zero need for any MTG booster packs. I filtered for XI and didn’t even get ten cards from the whole set even with the dupes.

Absolute Virtue seems really easy to get around. Just lure your enemy into a false sense of security and bounce it right back into their hand mid battle.

I’m not usually one to do series rivalries, but it was kinda nice how FFXI got a louder cheer than FFXIV in the mtg reveal stream.

Shantotto may not be my favorite FFXI NPC, but she’s still a big face of the game SE keeps picking and I’m not optimistic about FFXI’s representation in the MTG set if she doesn’t even get a spot as a rare instead of an uncommon.

I finally stopped procrastinating on the role quests and I am disappointed in everyone who fell for that tripe the villains were spouting enough to want to side with them. Easy targets for a bald faced liar because they occasionally pepper things with the truth the whole lot of you.
