Beginning to write threads on FanTrax EPL Dynasty prospects (u23, u21, Youth)
MP is adjusted instead of gPP90/PP90. I worry for playing time more than anything, though with Palmer's injury he could be closer to the optimistic side (if the transfer is done quicker). I do worry as the difference between gPP90/PP90 is ~4 points.

Fermin has sticks out alongside notable premier league names in defensive duels won & xG+xA per 90.

In comparison to other CHE assets that can play the 10, Fermin provides nothing necessarily different.

Fermin excels in all attacking categories, but also plays in a less competitive league on one of the best teams. He seems to play almost exclusively in the middle, hence the lacking ACs. His low carrying frequency indicates hes good at being a cog.

Pino is a lot more reliant on non-👻 than others, but you could argue that playing alongside Mateta & Sarr (Goal-oriented) will help him maintain his PP90. Crystal Palace playing a high-press trap will be ideal to keeping his defensive contributions high.

1st Plot shows Pino as not relying on carrying the ball to create chances, this is positive and similar to Eze. Then 2nd Plot shows Pino as a much more better defensive contribute in comparison to their offensive contribution, which is surprising.

I compared the three prospective transfers to Palace, and Pino stands out in a couple statistics: PKW, STO, & his xA related statistics.

Pino excels at defensive contributions as a winger and with a low carrying frequency has solid creation stats. Over-performing in goals and assists with a very low SOT per 90. Translates to a good goal conversion and reinforces his creation ability.

I would image a hit on JWP/Soucek/Rodriguez minutes if he were to join, projections move instead of MP. I actually don't fear too much on the downside due to most of Schmid's points deriving from 👻

This scatter plot illustrates how Schmid ranked alongside Premier League stars last season, with a similar output to them (KP) and a similar progressive actions.

A similar profile to two Premier League staples, Maddison & Odegaard. Smaller output in the npxG & Assists category, but I'm less worried about it for the position he played and strength of squad. My worry is that he isn't joining a strong squad either.

Schmid played in the middle and on the wings last season, leading MF from the Top 5 leagues in progressive actions. Also being a leader in related stats as well, with a slight under performance in xG+xA.

Although defensive contributions help score 👻, 6s & 8s need to have some form of xG+xA output that also boosts their PPS/PP90. Santos, for example, has a high output of PP90/gPP90 for excelling in both areas.

The first scatter shows that the three players listed excel in defensive contributions and lack in a major offensive front (KPs). This is further shown by their excelling in the defensive contributions of the second scatterplot.

Andrey Santos sticks out with his defensive prowess as well as being involved in progressing the ball. His xG+xA also excites, while the other two playing a deep role have higher defensive stats in comparison (not by much).

Although Omari is the only current player who has joined a Premier League team, the prospective moves have more upside for starting time. I created a base case and created 2 upside/2 downside cases, respectively, based on minutes.

The first scatter plot shows that Omari had more progressive carries while maintaining a similar clip (xG+xA) per 90 minutes (negative). However, he is also an outlier in successful dribbles & accurate crosses (positive). These compared M in the Prem 24/25.

One player sticks out from the rest: El Khannouss. His progressive stats and passing stats from last season stand out. While Mateus Fernandes wins more duels, defensive ones at that. Even while comparing Omari to Mids instead of Wings, he still sticks out.
