A few early American Robins have arrived. I’ve not seen them eating seeds from sumac tree in the past, but suspect the ground is still frozen, so they need to eat something.

Today is only the second time in this winter that we’ve had three or four inches of snow. I’m hopeful that February will cure all of that.

About five or six years ago, an owl, unknown type, killed a skunk on my front yard.
I think maybe Pepé Le Pew had better watch out, because this evening I identified a Great Horned Owl sitting in our backyard trees with Merlin sound.
