On the topic of guns, banning assault weapons wouldn’t be infringing on your rights just as having background checks and having to register wouldn’t. You have to register to vote, that’s also a right, you have to go through a background check to work at your child’s school. These aren’t radical 💡’s

I vividly remember getting yearly drills on how to survive a school shooting instead of learning how to do math or write an essay. I can’t imagine the pain of a person who had to live the vivid memory of being in a school shooting. This isn’t acceptable to allow children to learn in this environment

As a member of Gen-Z, the political landscape for most of my life has been dominated by Trump and MAGA to the point that politics could seem as if it has always been divisive and hateful. I dream for a day when I can watch a debate and think it’s boring, or vote while not scared for my livelihood.

I don’t have an issue with the Republican Party — my issue is with the MAGA agenda. I would gladly vote for a republican if they offered a solid policy plan that helped Americans yet more often than not it’s the democrats that do. I’m not a democrat or republican, I’m just an American.

When immigrants come to American not only do they reduce crime, bring new jobs, bring workers pay up, give money to our social programs, but they also, just as anyone else, want to have the American dream. Vilifying people for the fact that they came here is vilifying the American dream.
