The Seine river was once disgusting and contaminated. After a multi-billion dollar clean up, the river was finally clean enough to allow the athletes at the 2024 Paris olympics to do events like the triathlon in that water.

Caitlin Clark is known as the face of women’s basketball, and she was out with a groin injury. Her team was suffering without her, but I think it’s better that she rests and recovers so she can come out stronger when she’s healed.

Brigette Lacquette is an Indigenous female hockey player. She was the 1st First Nations hockey player to play on Canada's National Women's Team. She's a role model for both female and First Nations athletes. She won silver and gold in 2009/2010 Womens World Championships.

In the future I plan on becoming a physiotherapist and create a treatment plan to help my patients heal from their injuries. By being in this field of work, it can provide me with a higher knowledge of fitness which can then benefit my own fitness goals. I will also play recreational sports.

I was a part of a youth basketball program called Jr. NBA, where I coached young athletes. To make the program safe, I had to take a course before being able to help out and the practices were also short to ensure the kids were not being overworked.

In this campaign, it discusses the sexism that females deal with in sports culture and encourages them to ignore the stereotypes, and keep doing what they love despite the negative talk surrounding women's sports. #feministtheory

I would define a sport as something that is physically demanding, and requires physical skill. For a sport to be a sport, you have to be competing against a team, or another individual. I do not believe things like video games or card games are a sport because it is not exercise.
