The most common service advertised by CPCs is “free” goods such as maternity & baby supplies. They are often conditional on participation in biased programming which often push unscientific medical advice and bigoted anti-LGBTQ messaging.

CPCs in Minnesota make false and biased medical claims at nearly double the rate of CPCs in other states. Nearly 30% of CPCs in Minnesota also promote “abortion pill reversal (APR)”, a medical procedure described by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as “not based in science.”

People do not understand how underserved communities are regarding women's health in part because of the prevalence of Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Helping crisis pregnancy centers connect with your clients is a health hazard.

Maybe if any #liberal actually had a backbone and regulated anything I could believe that AI isn't going to be a problem. But I won't hold my breath.

If you live by a store with a lot of theft, they turn off the self check out machines. They don't rehire significant numbers of cashiers. You just spend your evening standing in dirty checkout lines.

The grocery stores just didn't hire as many people. They didn't pass that savings on to you. They didn't continue to develop better robots that could step out to help with carts or clean up spilled milk. They didn't create jobs for people who used to be cashiers or baggers.
