Arsenal FC
Considering our recent attacking sterility and tendency to let in late goals, I am sorry but I have to ask: Are we Tottenham in disguise?

I think the whole title race so far is at champions-league-places-good level.

Why do you call it Power if they are all weak?;)

Sour grapes..

Arsenal's new stadium couldn't have been called"Highbury", as it is not in Highbury. It could have been called Ashburton Grove, and maybe it will be, after the Emirates deal expires (and before a new one takes place).
July 21, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Highbury and Emirates are not the same stadium. Highbury was destroyed, and the new stadium was built in a slightly different location called Ashburton Grove. It is neighbouring Highbury, but it is not the same

What does it mean "the AI" that you "ran" the transfer window through? Did you develop the algorithm? Is it. ML, DL, or RL model and how did you train it?

source?

And thank you both for facing and discussing the difficult topic and not avoiding it altogether, like other Arsenal journalists. It is not only transfer rumors that we fans need. It is indeed about the values that the club represents.

Thank you @gunnerblog.bsky.social for the emotional, sensitive, but still immaculately articulated stance on Partey's case. I know I have been the one who has asked questions if the journalists could have taken a clearer stance during those 3 years, but in any case I feel that you were spot on.

Do you mean he will receive 2m less than what he earns now at Sporting, or 2m less than what was his negotiations' opening demand?
July 7, 2025 at 12:57 PM
We managed to sell Bielik for 10 million if I remember correctly, and this still remains one of the highest fees we have received for one of our youngsters that weren't part of the first team.
July 7, 2025 at 8:54 AM
Last season Setford wore the #36.
Reminds me how when Rice came and stole the #41 from Mika Biereth, we ended up selling the player ;-)
Hopefully we manage to keep Tommy, we need a 3rd keeper!

"You can do a lot with that."
Yeah, like pay Chelsea the mark-up on Madueke's transfer price so that Chelsea can make a profit on the player...
July 7, 2025 at 8:46 AM
Do you find such stance a bit hypocritical? If they believed the club should have acted differently and suspended the player or at least reduce his minutes and phase him out, shouldn't they also have ignored him in their mentions and analysis?
July 7, 2025 at 8:23 AM
During the same time however, they have also been focusing only on the professional side of the player, commenting his performances, praising the good ones and admitting his reliability this season has helped the team a lot.[...]

#arsecastextra @gunnerblog.bsky.social When TP's charges were announced, a lot of Arsenal journalists and media personalities took a position against the club for not acting properly and morally correct the last two years.[...]

Considering the divisive character and the high price for Madueke, there seems to be quite a lot of willpower invested from the club in making this deal happen. Do you think he is an Arteta signing or Berta's recommendation?
July 7, 2025 at 8:10 AM
I will still be upset. And I think Clive too..
July 5, 2025 at 7:49 PM
To me personally the fact that they wanted to extend his contract means that they fully believed in his innocence. To commit to his (hgh) salaries if they knew he will be suspended makes no financial sense.

In any case, the club has A LOT to explain now.
July 4, 2025 at 3:54 PM
I cannot believe that the club wanted to resign him if they were not convinced in his innocence.
July 4, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Similar situations happened with Mendy from City and Greenwood from United. Did those cases really impacted how we feel towards the clubs?
July 4, 2025 at 3:38 PM
Just let's skip the defeat in the first leg, please.

Last year when we needed him he was so solid that he ended up on a Northbanksy mural. Then we forgot he existed. Now he is pulling a solid shift again. I feel that the only two things he needs in order to win gooners' hearts are regular playing minutes and to change his name to Gabi.
