You could tell that he knew the gravity of his position, he had respect for the office and just wanted to meet every citizen with appreciation and this humble nature. He never acted above anyone, he always met people where they were, and I miss that DESPERATELY.

Between that and his “Thanks a lot Obama” skit show his humanity. Took the office seriously as being a leader for all of us! By no means perfect, but no person is….and contrast to an entire administration built on pettiness and vengeance….ughhh
