This is a byproduct of the useless “when they go low we go high” theory. The GOP would be bitching 24/7 on every street corner if the Dems tried to suppress such a report. We need to stop playing by Marquess of Queensberry rules and admit we’re in a street fight.

It’s all about revenge and settling scores. Trump is willing to burn this country to the ground and he truly believes he has a mandate from the people to do it.

There is no accountability for Trump. He can literally get away with murder now and America has no one to blame but itself.

The electorate isn’t listening. They’re all too busy congratulating themselves on selling out Democracy for the price of a dozen eggs.

America doesn’t care because America isn’t listening. Instead, America is busy tending to its own selfish interests and willing to cede all power and control to a fascist regime that falsely promises to satisfy them.

America has become the kind of country we all used to look upon as corrupt, hostile and inhumane. I suppose we always were that kind of country, but just hid the truth behind a bunch of jingoistic “USA! USA!” bullshit. The real America has finally shown itself and I’m not going to lie - it hurts.

Yes, I’ve read/heard such accounts as well. Sadly I had higher expectations that the majority would reject Trump simply because of who he is. I was clearly wrong. It’s hard for me to look at a stranger now without wondering, “Are you one of the people who sold America out?” I’m ashamed of the USA.

I think this outcome is largely reflective of how little faith the majority in our country have in women and/or people of color to lead. Also, we have too many low/no information voters as well as a culture that promotes greed, selfishness, “macho” bravado and fear of “the other.”

But then Vance becomes POTUS. 😞
