There's evidence to back this up.
Even lowering garden walls back to 1m fences would go some small way to alleviate the isolating behaviours we've cultivated over the last 50 years.
But all the evidence shows we function best as OP says. We'll never get it back tho bc content ppl don't buy stuff

Someone by me lets their dog out for a nice long barky at 5am every morning. It does not shut the fuck up for an hour and a half.
Some days it's out ther the entire fucking day.
I feel so sorry for night workers.

Everyone gets a participation medal. At least he tried!

Perhaps safe cycle infrastructure would be the place to start then?
I really wish the kids my way wouldn't ride in the road. Drivers are way too unsafe.

Yeah. My biggest flex is "I like my kids" .
November 19, 2025 at 1:04 PM
Alright, calm down Jo Frost.
Some of us actuaĺy like our kids and don't resent them.
November 18, 2025 at 11:05 PM
That and im old enough to be viciously resentful of EVERYTHING wanting me to sign up to an app or its own paid subscription when I used to be able buy and own forever.

The article states no exception.

Someone literally just emptied their scabby pocket in there, didn't they!

*I haven't watched a horror since wolf creek.
Never again. I'm still traumatised and it's got to have been 25 years.

I'm from the UK. I watch primarily Aus TV. Your comedy is golden. You do creepy incredibly well bc its not overacted slash n dash. It plays head games using relatable characters You believe you could meet on the street. US TV, is utter trash.

I watched one and wouldn't bother with the rest. It was so bad.

Ppl on low incomes already can't afford to put the heating on or pay the water bill.
Give it 10 years of min wage workers not putting the heating or hot water on & you'll be inundated with work fixing seized pipes, dead boilers and mouldy houses.

Sorry you grew up to be such a hateful old cunt.
We cant all just be nice ppl, I suppose.

Congratulations on having the money & knees for an e-bike.
We're not all the same.
I don't have the money &I'm in the UK where it pisses down most of the year and we don't have safe cycle routes in rural areas &drivers take pleasure in taking g you out or at least for ing you into a hedgerow.

Yesterday I was wringing right through when I got home.
My coat is still wet. My shoes are still wet.
So, I can't wait for the car to be right there.

You say that like we all live in a major city.
The next bus is in an hour. 3x a day it's 1.5hrs
On a Sunday/Bank Holiday, its 2 hourly.
I catch the bus 5/6days a week. 12 buses. So far we're averaging 4 buses a week just don't turn up. I can't get to work or home. Stood on stop for HOURS.
November 15, 2025 at 7:50 AM
It takes me 2.5 hours to get into the city by bus.
...when the buses turn up - which they mostly don't.
It's a 45 min drive.
