The energy at the No Kings Rally in York, PA was palpable. At one point, people around me began looking up, cheering loudly at the Bald Eagle flying overhead. Someone shouted "Never seen anything like that before!" I began to feel hopeful as I replied back; "Neither have I. Neither have I....."

The SS United States has left Philadelphia, where she sat unattended for nearly 30 years, to ultimately be sunk off the Gulf of Mexico as the world's largest artificial reef. If this isn't the perfect metaphor for our country right now, then I don't know what is.

Yep, it'd be nice if the establishment Democrats actually DID THEIR JOB by addressing our concerns beyond the usual fundraising texts and empty promises. Guess that's asking too much for most of them. It's entirely up to us. It always has been.
