Oh no, you're fine, they didn't blame my mental illness-- they tried to tell me my pain is a normal amount of pain... Even though parts of my bowels are now missing due to my disease!

Sometimes it's insurance, denying access to certain treatments that are newer but could help etc., which circles us back to the OP 😂 I appreciate this interaction, thank you for your sympathies and I hope ur situation improves 💖

I don't have to imagine because I dealt with being invalidated for 5 years before a doctor took me seriously! And I have been dealing with mental health issues on top of it and also as a result of it! Have had many attempts due to not wanting to live with the pain anymore!

I appreciate the sympathy, I'm sorry your depression is so heavy that it causes you physical discomfort.

No one's doing that except you, my response was to help you see where others were coming from. You're clearly very defensive and don't want an actual discussion and just want to hold onto your POV. You're disregarding how someone can deal with mental illness AND have chronic pain which amplifies it.

As someone with endometriosis (I have had 2 surgeries for it, I can show you pictures of my organs stuck together), diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2, generalized anxiety disorder, and CPTSD, have had multiple attempts--- thats a load of bullshit and you should be grateful your body is healthy💖

This isn't a competition by any means, I believe the comment was just reinforcing the OP. However, to help you understand what they're saying; imagine dealing with your depression while also being incapacitated by extreme pain that makes you unable to work or go to school or take care of yourself.
