Agreed, but having been in a similar situation (though not public facing), it takes some time to get over the shock of betrayal, and then time to plan the escape. And some take their vows so seriously they stay to the bitter end when they know they shouldn’t be there. Just another point of view.

His poor wife must be completely horrified at this change in him. I don’t believe this is who she married. Feeling for her and all people who have seen their partners morph into someone unrecognizable.

Sadly, I don’t think they will ever change their attitude towards Hillary. Their refrain will continue. I don’t believe they are constitutionally capable of making an accurate comparison.
