They also don't realize that even if it is for concept art you already cut out humans in some part AND your whole project is infected from the start based on genAI.

I know it's a "slippery slope" but first it is placeholders and concept art then it is just a little texture here and there and so on. Have to stop the genAI before it gets going.

Some of me think it is people just don't want to.
With video games at least, people would rather talk about how they want a remake/remaster of some game even though they can buy the game on all current platforms. You also see people just bemoan how they won't play a game because it is "outdated".

Mostly for people to not pay one of the payments and get sacked with all of the interest. If you're someone who can pay on time you can reap the rewards or deals that come with some of these. Got like 100 bucks off of a GPU years back from a Newegg deal to use that type of service.
