I think that’s the point too -they want to break the system. They aren’t picked to be good at their jobs. They are picked to run departments into the ground.

100% agree with you on all of that. I’ve especially shouted about what we saw economically is a direct result of Trumps mis-management of the pandemic.
But I think people are so brainwashed they will ignore the struggles his admin will cause and blame Dems through some mental gymnastics.

He had an incompetent staff in 2016. He still got re-elected. Not sure this will change the calculus at 30% of the country and 90% of the legacy media are apologists for him and the GOP

The Dem losses in general are being heavily overstated. Perception of economic issues related to Corporate price gouging did the party in 2024 but there isn’t some seismic shift rightward. Most people say out because no one thinks either party will fix anything.
