Here is the result of adjusting my dress form, Adam. SO much sturdier now! I took in the form as a whole and added some inner support features.
Added the miniature dress form I altered. Named Stitch! This little guy has already helped out a ton with theory crafting garments while saving fabric!

Back from a social media break. Will be updating what's new; to start I did fix my sewing table. Hammered in some anchors and tried to mold wood putty. Needed a couple tries over many weeks of a long humidity bout. Finally settled and sanded. But now I have my table and storage I'd missed!

Practicing Video editing for the first time! Been pretty fun so far, will see what I may end up making for posting eventually. In the meantime it's been nice learning to do something without a goal.

Successfully chipped away all the old wood putty! Honestly, I was nervous about this part, not knowing if the small bits adhered better than the large piece.

One of the downsides to being a sewer is day one of painted nails already has the "pin guiding" finger chipped 😮💨 Here's to getting back into both sewing and nail painting 💅

Update on the progress of my sewing table. Lightly hammered the leg back in place, added wood glue, and clamped it with my handy super long wood clamp. It's one of the best buys I've had to make these furniture repairs possible!

Throwback Thursday post! This is from when I was enrolled with EVIT's Fashion program way back in 2014! One of those "alternative materials" challenge, this strapless mini dress was made from recycled book pages and earned me 3rd place! (No quality books were killed for this project)

Update on the slow repair of my sewing table. I was able to make a good mold of one of the in-shape legs to help with the repair. For some reason, I tried to hand mold the last one, so this will look better and be way easier 😅

The final rendition of character art for my Gnome Artificer Berylin of a 3 year long campaign that ended in 2023. When the world is ending she decided she'd like to go out in style with a diamond pinstripe suit she got. It certainly fed a Mob Boss persona she was growing to be known for.

And here it began in spring of 2022, I started to get back into sewing again. By July, I finished my own custom dress form that would aid me in future projects. I have since updated Adam just before we moved to make him stronger, so I will post the changes in the future.

Throwback Thursday post! I made this monstrosity back in 2018 as a custom beast companion! My character was a Druid who liked to collect bird feathers in a book as a hobby. After collecting a vial of some primordial goop to research, the vial broke in her bag and created this creature!

And here was the final result of the NPC art for Cameron for FlubberKnuckle's Prevantus campaign. Cameron was voiced and played as an 80's era Punk. So I had fun and did some research to make a Medieval outfit that could convey the feel of 80's London Punk!

Step one to sewing table repair! So lucky I have a local woodworkers supply shop near me. Every tip I see about repairing broken wood furniture says to use this molding kit, but it's not available online anywhere but ebay! Did they go outta business? Have to be sure to make this stuff last!

Another move, another breaking of the foot on my antique sewing table 🙃 I've done some studying this time and I think I can repair it better now. Will post progress as it happens, but for now just getting through the old and new. Fingers crossed this year it is restored for good!

Fantasy magazine cover I did of the party Rogue from a 3 year campaign. He became the fashion icon of our group after getting the fanciest of magical boots bestowed upon him. A fancy coat for a fancy lad. Feat a couple in-session references relevant to the player and group shenanigans.
