I just ventured into The Bad Place to look at Sen Cassidy’s account & there’s no mention of RFK or his scythe-swinging

His most recent posts include approval of Trump’s military assault on democracy, endorsement of the BBB, sports updates, a picture of food & a scripture reading 😐

You don’t have to buy it - facts are facts whether you accept them or not

Now you’re obviously talking about adults and the covid shot?

The original *was tested against saline placebo* so I fail to see your point 5 years later - like kids’ vax, each booster is a tweaked version of the original

Yup

That West Point trophy-wife-sidestep was the last straw for me too

This statement deserves a fresh airing - thanks @jonathanstea.bsky.social
for quoting Doc Bastard

Those of us who were in the Twitter vaccine forum back in the day will fondly remember his (often colourful) posts; it was a sad day for the good guys when he left the site 😔

CNN: the guidelines “will more closely align the United States with guidelines in… Australia”

Actual advice here: “boosters are the best way to maintain your protection…against COVID”

True we don’t advise for kids <5 but boosters are recommended for *18 & over*

and no, the definition of vaccine was not changed bc testing is less rigorous (which is itself untrue)

It’s been updated a few times since the earliest definition, as the science has advanced - its meaning is basically the same.

An excellent explanation from historyofvaccines.org/blog/meaning...

in Australia we use ‘k’ for thousands, ‘m’ for millions

NB looks like that’s also used in the US…
May 3, 2025 at 3:00 AM
Genuine 2024 stats:

Europe: 32 265
European Region: 127 350

Majority of cases unvaccinated

Main reason for case numbers = *dropping vaccine coverage*

THAT’s perspective

Jim’s an example of “doing your own research” 🤦🏼‍♀️

You? A “critical care nurse”?!
😂
Your feed has no facts , just tropes like “mercury in vaccines” which suggests little/no clinical experience & stunted critical thinking skills

If I’m wrong then ok… but you’re not the kind of nurse I’d want looking after anyone I know

Your handle is spot on tho

the US also should not have such a high infant mortality rate

(which, considering RFK Jr’s heinous activity, may well worsen… the irony is not lost)

You quoted this section from the CDC statement (pic A from NBC article)

Why did you choose to remove the sentence (pic B, from CDC) that immediately preceded it?

The sentence stated “Vaccination remains the best defense against measles infection.”

Q: please explain how an excuse tax (which AFAIK is paid by the manufacturer before sale) is “paid by consumers”?

I’ve always asserted that consumers do NOT fund the NVICP - have I been wrong all these years?
