After long debate, I decided to cancel/postpone my doctoral program due to finances. Pretty bummed out on one hand, but relieved on the other because I don't want to owe our gov't money. 🤷One day😔I've been in school since 2011, with very few breaks along the way. I'll enjoy some time off ☺️

My 4 year old was asking questions about death and graves. The conversation led to her asking "if Mama, Papa, Gigi, and I die, who will change Bubba's diaper?" Our son is autistic and not currently potty trained. My heart shattered. She is four and was intuitive enough to put that together. 💔😭

My kid was bitten on the foot twice by some bug and in that moment of true fear and pain she said "owie zowie" and I think ultimately it's a win. Of course I don't want her to be hurt but I think we are doing something right in regards to vocabulary. Footwear needs improvement.

My nonspeaking 5 year old son just asked his dad for me to come to the room they are in, and then asked me for a kiss and hug. First time he has ever done that and I'm losing it 😭

I was explaining mottos to my daughter. After some time she tells me her motto.."Sometimes, if someone gets a rat in their shirt, you just have to laugh". I think she gets it.
