A lot of Dems are using the Susan Collins playbook here. Not supporting more radical elements and encouraging just enough of the elements that are willing to do what they really want, and using them for cover so they can take the popular vote and not any heat. I'm looking at you Jeffires and Shumer.

Not a con, the administration just has a well-known math disability. Like when trump says drug prices will be lowered by 1500% or Dr Oz says the American population of 342M people will lose 135B lbs on Ozempic by the midterms, equaling 394lbs per person. So, actually, the smaller basket may be ok.

It would take a big commitment, but the 1990s series Babylon 5 ran for 5 years and was a multi level story line set in space in the future; politics, religion, racial issues, and political intrigue.

2) It’s an INTEGRAL part of an historical structure who’s entire facade will now be irrevocably damaged by an addition that has no relevance to the original structure. Although I truly hope that upon his departure govt or private money will be found to demolish the ballroom and restore the WW.

1) The WH belongs to the people not the President and he doesn’t get to decide for himself what structural changes get made. He is a TEMPORARY resident. As a “renter” you don’t get to blow out a wall in your apartment without asking the landlord…WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE LANDLORDS. He didn’t ask.
