Since the Hudson line is the only one that will be accessible directly from Penn Station, they could just give the LIRR control of that route.

For example, the Port Washington line is electrified and could run the local stops on the hudson line. Giving a one seat ride between Yonkers to both Woodside and Jamaica for transfer to the airports.

At the very least, with Penn Station access phase 2, we should be through running LIRR trains into Westchester.

Proton didn't exist back then, which is the main reason it works now.

It's going to be HL3, but it's a flat game that can be experienced in the theater mode of the new headset.

Valve really should release an ARM build of the game with settings that work on the hardware, even if it compromises the visuals somewhat.

The appeal is if it's $500 or less it is basically IMPOSSIBLE to get a PC with those specs at that price. You'd have to spend $200 more if you went with DIY.

It's mostly very old games with weird launchers that have issues. Basically every new title works except for those with performance or anti-cheat related issues.

Hopefully AMD releases a "fast FSR4" for RDNA3 devices.

Do we know if it's a binned RX 7600 or a RX 7600M yet? I don't know how the 7600M would perform at higher power levels, but it should be similar to the RTX 2070 Super if it's only 5% slower than the full RX 7600.

Hopefully Valve drops this for $400-$500, to make it a good value.
November 13, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Valve priced the Deck very aggressively at release, and if they are using leftover RX 7600M chips they could have gotten them for pretty cheap. A $450 price would be a hit I think.
November 13, 2025 at 4:58 PM
It's unclear if it's using a RX 7600M at higher power or a binned RX 7600 at this point. But it should be 5-10% slower than the normal RX 7600. This points to it being in the same ballpark as the RTX 2070 Super, which is similar to the PS5.

The mayors in the past were able revoke park status on properties that did not have official state park designation.
November 12, 2025 at 10:18 PM
I'm thinking that they think (incorrectly) that Zohran would be afraid of the headlines about developing over a park.
November 12, 2025 at 9:18 PM
That doesn't apply for land that wasn't designated as parkland by Albany. The land is just "temporary" parkland and was transferred to the parks department. Albany doesn't need to be involved to revert it.
November 12, 2025 at 9:16 PM
Funny thing though, is that it's only a "temporary" designation. Zohran's OMB director can just change it right away.

Like @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social can just transfer this back on day 1 if he wants to:

Like usual, the Adams admin doesn't understand the tools that are available to a Zohran admin to bypass attempts to obstruct such as this.

I checked, and without council involvement, the executive can only "temporarily" designate land as a park. The next admin can simply take it away.

I think people should also be aware that DeRosa isn't just an advisor, but she was fucking Andrew. Take anything she says with a grain of salt.
