I hope Key and WFS eventually release offline version of HBR. I think a lot of people would enjoy this game without gacha elements. Heck it wouldn't be hard cause HBR barely feels like a gacha game.

I've finally finished Sakura Wars 2! An excellent game. I loved it. SEGA took what made the first game great and doubled down on that! I really recommend it to everyone.

It's kinda crazy how in 2025 it is possible to have cross play in Phantasy Star Online across PC (Blue Burst), GameCube, Wii, Wii U, and Xbox!

I've finished the first disc in Sakura Wars 2. Overall the game so far is basically Sakura Wars 1 but better in every way. I appreciate the newly added QoL features as well as the two newly added characters.

I'll never understand why do developers, when porting 4:3 VNs to modern consoles, force 16:9? Here's an example of Chunsoft's Machi (Saturn vs the PSP port).

I've been messing around with some old Leaf titles (Megiddo) and honestly I'm surprised how easy it is to translate this game.

Thanks to the PS3 homebrew community, the PS1 emulation no longer looks blurry! It is now entirely possible to use the nearest neighbor upscaling with disabled dithering. Comparison images below.
