As frustrating as he was entertaining. If there was an end product he'd be far too good for this Sunderland team. Feel the same way as I did when Gooch left.

What do we think the strategy will be for Cirkin and Neil? Do we think they'll stay / sign new contracts or do we think they'll be moved on in Jan to try and get some £ for them? Struggle to see how Cirkin in particular showcases his ability given the squad depth.

Can't see it. Get the sense we'll be looking for someone else. Great servant, top champ defender but not convinced he's got the pace for the PL.

"he has turned his back on the club for money"...very harsh. He's joined a team higher up the football pyramid with a proven record of developing players. We don't know all the details behind the deal Brighton wanted to do either. Agree though that his recent performances don't merit a start today.

The continued protection of Patrick Roberts by RR is crazy. Why shouldn't we demand more from such a talent, or call out the need for replacement. He was shocking last night both in and out of possession. Couldn't keep hold of the ball and too weak out of possession.

You'd think people would have faith in the regime to make the right choices. They know more than us about the market, incomings, AA's view, contract etc.
