Well yes, but that's the nature of the beast as the moral decision is usually subject to the immediate conditions the decision is made in. It's stickily dynamic in that sense. May I suggest getting a copy of this:

*Army War College. Mind you NWC no longer has a chair in ethics because of resignation due to interference in teaching and not respecting academic freedom.

That's awesome. It's dead at NWC (what they teach is embarrassingly basic) and CGSC has basically given up.

Oh, ethics training is dead. Totally, utterly dodo. The chaplain corps is hostile to actual ethics training, and it's now supposed to be suffused within other subjects because no-one wants to make training time available.
