In fact, the dev has lately been adding cosmetics to the face cards that reference other games for free.

They could totally be $0.99 cosmetic purchases, but the dev just added them as a free update.

It was Battle for Bikini Bottom and Simpsons Hit and Run for me. They really made an Simpsonified GTA with a collectathon, unlockable outfits and vehicles from the show, easter egg setpieces, and, for as goofy as it ended, a legitimate through plot told from the perspective of multiple characters.

I can’t tell you what I would give to play those old point and click games. Employee of the Month even had a level that focused on the legal question of the fruit falling over the fence.

It’s the classic tale of creator vs creation with a hero’s journey, a band of ragtag allies, and epic fights that bring the figurative struggle against one’s self to the literal.
