Qc5 to protect the pawn...?

Yes, but a thousand other terrible things too.

The stench coming from this pair of arseholes is horrendous.

Fabulous, I will watch. Thank you!

Ah yes, I saw the other comment on this puzzle. I think i heard Hikaru once saying that in puzzles he always analyses possible takes and checks first, and goes from there.

I think it's because after Nc6 the computer can't save its queen whatever it does (unless you blunder).

I would consider pawn to g5... then bishop to h3... ?

I like to imagine the king jumps over the Rook when they castle. I also think they should bring in a 'dragon' piece that is like a queen but can fly.

I'll be honest, I read the other replies after scratching my head for a long time looking for a winning move that doesn't exist. Finding a draw is hard though, even if I knew that was what I was looking for. Fun position to look at with so much hanging though, enjoyed it.

I would think I was being clever by blocking the black bishop with Knight to E5. Then I would lose the my Rook and promptly resign.

Looking forward to reading this. Autism is our household has produced an obsession with the music of Iron Maiden in our boy. When he is interested in something, he is really interested!

Isabel is my nemesis !

"and there is nothing more to be done here" is quite the catchphrase. Yeah the historic stuff is brilliant.
November 15, 2024 at 7:13 PM
Nice work. Does this mean you have reached the dreaded Isabel?
