I like being able to have greater control over my character’s presentation outside of a cookie cutter model.
I don’t mod too far, and if penumbra and all died tomorrow I’d be inconsolable but get ok with it, because I do genuinely like the game underlying my alternative play method*

For me it's about having my character properly shown in the game. The game has a serious lack of styles for PoC characters and the ones we do have are so unserious.
