yeah not normal to us but is to them. I have taught my brain to default to 'scripted bland lie' unless with someone I trust in most contexts but possible I am too wary!

some people don't mind being asked questions and prefer it to being gawped and pointed at in the street. many more just want to be left alone and to have structural barriers removed, not this neoliberal bullshit.
