Over the weekend, my sweet cat companion of 15 years passed away. Hank was cuddle bug and a sass master and he'd been through the health ringer in his life. I am honored to have had him in my life for so long and I'll miss him every single day.

Everyone and their doggo is in a tight spot right now but word came to me today that I'm about to be laid off again in less than a month. I'll probably be opening commissions within the next week or so. I'm gauging interest. Examples to come.

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

Today I explained to a co-worker how/why we've come under the 'rule' of a Fascist Regime. Basically if you've paid even a little bit of attention, you would know these things. She was horrified and shocked.
Then she said "This is why I don't get into politics."
I walked tf away. Need my job.

I keep seeing people say "oh no 4 more years" like it hasn't dawned on them that this is a fascist regime and they'll never really vote again let alone in 4 years and at this point that much lack of awareness is fucking wild to me.
Like are you planning to overthrow it first? Can I come?
