Wrapped up @fantasiafestival.com yesterday with TOUCH ME, Addison Heimann's divisive and gorgeous tentacle horror comedy(?). Some moments were absurd, others were too real, but I definitely enjoyed the ride. Don't ever trust the smooth talking nice guy™️ in a track suit! 📽️ @horrorpress.com

QUEENS OF THE DEAD is a campy blast with a "cast full of queens, but no divas". Watching it with the crowd @fantasiafestival.com made it even better. Congrats to Tina Romero for making this glitter gore riot! 📽️👑 @horrorpress.com

LURKER really made me feel ill. An excellent parable about everything that's sick about the entertainment industry. Plus we got these face masks! 📽️ @fantasiafestival.com @horrorpress.com

$POSITIONS is how Silver Linings Playbook should have gone, basically. Broke, bloody and full of piss!! 📽️ 🤑 (I'm sorry, it's been 2 weeks of @fantasiafestival.com, my brain melted about 7 movies ago 🫠) @horrorpress.com

After last year's fav Steppenwolf, I loved going back to the Great Steppe for Kazakh Scary Tales. Folklore 🤝 monster hunting is always a good time!! 📽️ #fantasia @horrorpress.com

Ian Tuason's debut feature THE UNDERTONE is the terrifying microbudget gem that horror nerds dream of finding. It has creepy pasta, death bed eeriness, Catholic nightmare lore. Audio that will make you rethink ever using headphones. You'll never sleep again! @fantasiafestival.com @horrorpress.com

If you've been @fantasiafestival.com in recent years, you've encountered films by @adamsfamfilms.bsky.social, but nothing they've made so far will prepare you for MOTHER OF FLIES! It's both a feast of nightmares and a celebration of life and mortality! 📽️ @horrorpress.com

@fantasiafestival.com last night: Annapurna Sriram's Fucktoys is a capitalist tragedy masquerading as a sexploitation comedy. She proves herself to be a talented performer with incredible comedic timing. I laughed, I was horrified, I fell in love with 16mm film!! @horrorpress.com

Really had fun at last night's screening of TERRESTRIAL @fantasiafestival.com. It's the kind of thriller that keeps you guessing and laughing while the story twists and warps until suddenly you're heartbroken 📽️ @horrorpress.com

Still thinking bout last night's screening of It Ends @fantasiafestival.com The writing was so good & I was deeply moved. Alex Ullom really nailed the dread - apathy - hope pipeline, and I feel lucky that I got to see it!! @horrorpress.com folks keep your eyes out for this nightmare (complimentary)

Sweetness was so painful to sit through (complimentary) because you want Rylee to win but she definitely should not win. Excellent writing, great performances, and an incredible blue carpeted bathroom. A+++

Yesterday @fantasiafestival.com I saw The Wailing (2025) and I was deeply uncomfortable the entire time (complementary). I had no idea where it was going, I gasped out loud, I was very sad when it ended.

Caché (2005)
Je voulais que tu sois présent...

Though this is a deeply disturbing movie, it's worth watching twice. Once u understand Georges & Majid’s history, with whom do u empathize? How does ur view change once u understand what has been hidden?

Killers of the Flower Moon is a masterclass in the banality of colonial violence and the emptiness of the justice system. It was indulgent, haunting and confronting. I haven't stopped crying since I left the theater.
