Car audio technician. I'll be gaming till I die.
Something about that font reminds me of Multiversus. I don't think it's the exact same one, but damn it's close. Had my head scratching so much I had to look it up.

Idunno. If he went too deep into making it a shithole, or too oppressed or militarized, it would feel too far on the nose. Like at that point it's bordering on pandering. I don't think he wanted to too close to 'Don't Look Up' in political messaging.

In the early 2000s you can have ads on a site and not have a billion trackers to ID the user.

This was a great read, and very enlightening to why the current Blizzard is the way that it is. Would always recommend to anyone interested in gaming.

Starting to think Microsoft canceling all these games and laying off all these devs might be a net loss for the gaming industry. Who's to say, though. 🤷‍♂️

I think with the exception of Maelle, they *do* think their lives are more important than those in the canvas. But that isn't really the choice we're making. We don't control Renoir. This story is a tragedy and we don't get to change that.

He knows Maelle has no intention of leaving. And once his wife realizes, it's only a matter of time before she goes back. Renoir is convinced the only way to get past Verso's death is to destroy the canvas. That canvas was getting destroyed one way or another. Our decision is in getting Maelle out.

If it's any solace (it probably won't be), I'm pretty convinced Renoir would eventually destroy the canvas with Maelle still in it. The whole thing started with him trying to pull his wife out of it, and getting stuck in there himself. It ended up dragging in Clea and Alicia as well.
