Andor was a brilliant series. It boldly and openly criticizes what's going on in the world right now. And yet those criticisms are woven organically into the story in such a way as to not seem heavy-handed. The downside of this is that many people won't even notice them or realize the significance.

The distraction is more about the sheer volume of changes that the administration is making. They're doing so much so quickly that they're hoping no one can keep up with all of the illegal they're doing.

I think you're missing the point of the article. The news here is not about the purpose of the teeth, but about how the teeth evolved that may have contributed to the animals' extinctions.
