I haven't yet! Though given I'm just starting a book about Jack the Ripper by Mark Frost and was gunna follow it up with From Hell, I probably should.

Also a big reason for the Po'Dunk section of the website. Nice little place to put them as almost bonus features? It's a real Marge Simpson "I just think they're neat" approach.

A big part of starting work on each Backwood Folk issue is making the little props that will appear over the course of the issue. Fake newspaper front pages, old photos, fictional book covers, and movie posters. That kinda thing. Increasingly one of my favorite parts.

I think theres quite a lot to that, like a certain guided curation because even at a distance it feels a little more connected knowing someone had a hand in it.

Oh yeah, I can see the comparison point on certain things. Especially collectibles! Ive been seeing bookstores with books for sale in brown paper bags with nothing more than a genre labeled to them. Which I think is an interesting parallel or outgrowth.
