Welcome Backstage! 🎭🏳️‍🌈🎶🎤🎻

I’m a Bard named Ray! (they/them)

I’m neurodivergent, nonconforming creative, who loves telling stories. I will talk with you about musicals, media, or any multitude of topics. These are my unhinged, unmasked thoughts…
Thankfully she gets another shot! Hopefully she wins for Part 2!!

Welcome to America. Where we have micro transactions and pay to win civil rights!

Anyway as a they/them, I love One Piece so much and think that the fights are so awesome and cool and if you’re reading this there’s nothing really in the middle of this thread but explaining who is the better fighter between Zoro or Sanj, with Franky being the obvious answer. Anyway stay free! 🏴‍☠️ 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

It’s also relevant to today, but Kaido has a trans child that hates him and wants to see him destroyed…now…do Kaido and Orichi remind you of anyone? What about Oden who was convicted and sentenced to public execution for his crimes. Are we seeing the parallels without me having to say it people?!?!

So Kaido and Orichi are both defeated after a struggle that was only won through courage and the determination to protect, and fight for, your friends, strangers, and anyone who can’t eat.

And yes dear reader I know the Straw Hats helped with that motivation. Now there’s a lot of history, cool fights with powers, and a lot of really important people who had to sacrifice a lot to get to a happy ending, but in quick summary style I cannot cover it all. (Seriously this arc is long)

The people of The Land of Wano eventually find their courage and rise up against their oppressors. Even those who had been thrown in jail wrongly for their “crimes” decided to not let their current circumstances define them.

Oden knew he was a sacrifice in this moment. He knew he was putting himself on display for others, but he stood tall. He gave the people courage and hope that one day joy and peace would return and that sometimes great change requires great sacrifice.

This of course happened after Orichi rounded up all those who opposed him and put on a public display of his cruelty in order to strike fear into the population. He wished to break them of their spirit, however one brave individual took a stand.

These two individuals in their own cruel ways destroyed the Land of Wano. A place that was once bountiful and peaceful was thrown into anarchy. People arrested and forced to work for factories and labor. Nobody allowed in or out. Food, water, and the economy destroyed.

Kaido is a pirate at the top. He has conquered and defeated all of his enemies. His empire and influence stretches across vast oceans. He wants for nothing for he has everything, and yet, he is miserable. He has reached the top and is now all alone

So there’s this sleazy guy, from a very problematic family named Orichi. He decided to lie in order to take control of the Land of Wano. He really wants to make his family proud of him so he uses his political influence to take over the land with the help of a powerful ally.
