At 2am this morning I was woken by very loud carol singing. Fleeting thoughts included:
- The Day of Judgement has arrived, and it is being announced by Bing Crosby singing White Christmas.
- I am in a real life episode of Goodnight Sweetheart, and when morning comes, I will awaken in 1940s Ireland
