It's so funny. I drew like 5 guns which i always wanted to animate to test articulation: for action, cycling, reloading. Just to see how the parts would move. But i never did do that step, i just moved on to draw the next gun. I did that as a slow trickle for like 2 years. I did that on the side in the breaks between drawing story boards and writing Lore, and other "art" i never finished, and backgrounds that i will not give to Kota, and also other minor assets like this poster. I've been lost in the sauce for so long, that i forgot how futile it all actually was. Like you focus on the logistics of digging a hole so much you don't realize you've been digging around for nothing in the sand. 100% journey. No destination. It's actually so stupid. Guys, i can't animate. I can't cuz bad and i can't cuz i can't, guys. I literally can't. I picked up one of those guns to animate just now because Tomato've been doing a DnD with Brett. The other way around. Anyway. I can't do 40 frames of barely serviceable animation. It's just not possible on this laptop. I always knew this. I just forgot. And i've been so happy this whole time unremembering it. This only hurts so much now because i was too happy for too long. I forgot to hurt. Not in general. I hurt quite religiously. But i forgot to be miserable about this specifically and so it caught me off guard after 4 years of build-up. Honestly - hilarious. Wonder fooled. Kill me. I will also probably drop this poster and it's larger parent idea. Artstyle-play is too pretentions. I'll keep with it in less explicit ways, it's quite fitting and is "funny", but this was way too much. Too bad. There is something to this "amateurly" clean poster design. They really tie the room together. It's awful. I've been nihilistically making storyboards for so long - i forgot i can't even construct a 40 frame animatic on the hardware i have. This is the dumbest thing. This shit is 5 years old. And i only know that for certain because files have dates. I don't actually know how old these things are. But they are not going away. They won't let me go. I have so much shit. I've hacked it apart and back together so many times the dropped branches grow into their own trees now. I can't do this. I'm too good for this world. My perfect ideas are just too powerful and awe summoning. And i have the irreproachable impeccable sense to never let them go and never drop, never let go. Not one step back. Not an inch forward. I will go on to suffer forever even if i costs me a life of happiness. I will eat the tree and the tree will carve through my bones and forever sprout in an endless rotting spring over a blooming carcass-garden of a bountiful indiscriminate festival of larval, fungal and verminous matricide. An atom split not with a blistering catharsis but with a longest, lowest wave-length whisper. I'm dying, guys. Please do your best to speed that up please. In any way you can. But make sure i do not find out you did that for me. I will not accept kindness or pity. Never forget - Terry had ideas.
