I guess “lethality” is supposed to perk up certain ears that wouldn’t care about this shitshow otherwise? Such stupid times.

Weird to see this right after reading about clinical trials for cancer, Alzheimer’s, etc. research ending abruptly due to the current malignancy. Wondering
If the SPED staff at my local school will be employed next year…

This is just noise.

TBF, a more theologically-sound rationale for being pro-trump than American evangelicals have.

I mean, there are going to be a lot more devastating effects than less-tasty burritos if we continue down this path. We’re Brexiting ourselves, ffs…

Choosing avocados to illustrate the effects of a trade war seems like a failure in presenting a larger, serious issue.I know it’s supposed to be “relatable”, but it minimizes our imminent economic self-immolation by almost framing it as a millennial/Z/lib issue: “omg my guacamole/toast!”

Always struck me that this shove and the comment on Tucker’s show about Montenegro being “very aggressive” we’re the only two times Montenegro came up w/ Trump. And, I’ll admit that I suspect both instances were performances for the kremlin.

I remember assessing that cautiously - “but did he really say that seriously?” - and then Trump canceled his trip to Denmark after they said they wouldn’t sell.

Not even a big Pearl Jam fan, but “Black” - trying to sing along to Eddie Bedder from “I know someday you’ll have a beautiful life…” is a full-contact sport; you’ll end up bruised.

IIRC, someone explained pre- and post-McCain Lindsay Graham this way. Amazing that these people are “leaders” at all.
