Whenever I'm outside of Taipei...say, in London, Tokyo, Seoul or Melbourne, it occurs to me just how unpleasantly loud Taipei is because of the damn scooters...such a scourge.

In Singapore it's 不要. While this is the everyday spoken form, in Taiwan signage would generally always take the literary 請勿. This explains the standard of Mandarin in Singapore.

Sushiro Taiwan can be quite the deal. It's not high end sushi. But for the price, the quality and choice are good . Shirako, Uni and Chutoro.
