24"x18" oil on canvas. My goal was to emphasize the colors, shadows and reflections created by strong early morning sun. The calm water seems to inspire the fishermen to go about their business in a relaxed manner.

24"x18" oil on canvas. I took the reference picture while visiting Monterey, CA many years ago. I like the composition, the play of light, the boulder textures, and the subtle greens and blues in the ocean colors. Enjoy!
